Bosco Verticale - Nick Carlino
“Situated near Piazza Gae Aulenti, Bosco Verticale (designed by Stefano Boeri) consists of two residential towers covered in trees and shrubs.
With almost 17,000 plants on the building, the visually striking concept has contributed to an increased global focus on sustainable design.
Relocating to Milan shortly after the project was completed (with government backing to be ready for EXPO 2015) this architectural icon became part of the backdrop for the duration of my time there.”
