This photograph forms part of a series created for the Oxford Handbook of Music Performance, Vols. 1&2. A dream commission where I was given total creative freedom; the results feel like one of the defining moments of my career so far.
I see this image as a meeting point of my current photographic obsessions: reductive composition, continuous light accented with strobes, and a human to provide a hint of narrative and remind us why these places exist.
