Since 2016, I have been working on a project documenting the remaining relics of mid-century architect Iwan Iwanoff. As a Bulgarian emigree arriving in Perth, Western Australia in 1950 he worked in relative obscurity until his passing in 1986. During this time, Iwanoff completed around 100 residential projects. His unique style and use of concrete Besser blocks make his work quite iconic, yet relatively unknown to an international audience.
