Located in Vals, Switzerland and designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Peter Zumthor; ‘Therme Vals’ was completed in 1996.
Dark to light, warm to cool, the transitions you feel while moving around the space are immense. The goal was to translate these feelings into images.
The use of materials along with the locally sourced stone provides a serene space for relaxation and renewal. An entry to one of the baths seen here represents the cave-like structure at the same time displaying the strength of the natural stone used. One of the many quiet moments in the space.
