“Part of an ongoing series, Elemental explores our personal relationship with the natural world - how it ties us to place and enriches our lives. Returning to her country of origin after many years away, the series is a visual narrative of a homecoming - a reconnection with the land and a reacquaintance with that which was seen before now experienced in a new light.
Aeolian Sands I, II and III were photographed in the Great Sandy Biosphere - a UNESCO Reserve on the Southeast Queensland Coast of Australia. The images capture the soft alluvial sands from the surrounding dunes and the faint impressions of raindrops formed after a sun shower.
