Andado Shadows - Toby Scott

“I'm an interiors and architectural photographer. "Andado Shadows" is part of a greater series responding to a solo crossing of the Simpson Desert in 2022. Taken while visiting Old Andado Station which sits on the western edge of the Simpson Desert some 330kms south east of Alice Spring in the Northern Territory. This image awakens fond memories of family visits to my grandparents cattle property while growing up in Queensland some 2100kms away. The broken and stained concrete emerges from the shadows as the hot summer sun passes over head.”
