Having spent over four decades in intimate connection with this bush block, the screech of cockatoos and rustling of gum leaves have now given way to the quieter hum of a rural suburban village for her parents - a journey from 'home' to 'away.' However, this 'away' eventually transformed into a new 'home', albeit of a markedly different kind.
